Harkcon, Inc. Awarded Social Security Administration Emergency Management Support Contract

Fredericksburg, VA, October 14th, 2025 – Harkcon, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing emergency management, continuity, and mission support services, has been awarded the Emergency Management Support contract by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The award was issued on September 30, 2025. Under this multi-year task order, Harkcon will support SSA’s Office of Facilities and Security Management (OFSM) and Office of Emergency Operations (OEO) in strengthening enterprise-wide preparedness, continuity, and incident response capabilities. Work will be performed at SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland, and the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center, with additional support to regional and devolution sites nationwide.

24×7 Incident Command Center (ICC) watch operations and incident documentation.
Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning, site readiness, and plan maintenance.
Testing, Training, and Exercise (TT&E) program development, facilitation, and after-action reporting.
Risk management and mitigation analysis to strengthen SSA’s emergency preparedness posture.
Occupant Emergency (OE) and incident response coordination.
Mobile Training Team (MTT) delivery of emergency management and continuity training to regional and devolution sites.
