Harkcon, Inc. to develop Department of State ATA's Maritime Port and Harbor Security Management

Harkcon, Inc. was awarded a contract to provide instructors worldwide, including Dominican Republic, Jordan, Cyprus, Trinidad & Tobago, Bahamas, and Maldives, to lead and deliver ATA’s MPHSM training course. This three-week course is designed for 24 mid to senior-level emergency management specialists and maritime law enforcement officials responsible for the overall management of all port and harbor assets in times of major emergencies resulting from terrorist threats or natural disasters. MPHSM uses lecture, group activities, and field trips to introduce port and harbor security concepts that participants will use to develop a written maritime security plan.
