Don Jaccard manages our Departments of Energy and Justice portfolio, currently overseeing multiple support service contracts under the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) with an emphasis on Management and Budget, Defense Nuclear Non-proliferation, and Partnerships & Acquisition Services. Don has an extensive background in maritime safety and security both domestic and abroad along with Project and Program Management, internally funded research and development; and technology-based systems engineering.

 

He is a 28-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard followed by his second career in the private sector including the delivery of an integrated maritime surveillance network throughout Malaysia and Indonesia in Southeast Asia; establishment of COSPAS/SARSAT satellite ground tracking stations around the world; and the design and development of unmanned underwater vehicles for military applications.

 

Don is a graduate of the University of Maryland Global Campus where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business, and he earned a master's degree in Public Administration from the George Washington University.
